VANCOUVER

This picture shows Vancouver, in the foreground the downtown developed area, in the middle Stanley Park the preserved wooded land and beyond that (over the Lions Gate Bridge the residential area of West Vancouver.

  

 One of the symbols of Western Canada are totem poles. These are in Stanley   Park. We drove through there several times when we were in Vancouver.

 

Vancouver is a beautiful city full on new buildings and skyscrapers! This shows the reflection of an old building in one of the new blocks

The silver globe sitting all alone on the east side of False Creek is a former World Exposition attraction (1986). This is now Science World
